A unique concept started by 5 students on their final lap of internship before graduation. These final year students are from the Technical Diploma in Culinary Arts, a course offered at ITE tied with Institut Paul Bocuse (IPB). Putting their skills learned at school, previous internships and also the passion for an entrepreneurship opportunity has led them to start LayerByLayers. As the name suggests, the menu presented consists of items that have different textures and layers complementing one another. This allows the students to explore various cooking methods learned, putting them into practice and presenting a mix of Western and Asian dishes. One unique factor is that the pasta is freshly made daily as the team believes in the use of the freshest ingredients. In addition, they will create weekly specials that offer a different element of surprise to diners on top of the regular menu.
