Sid Kim is one of the three founders of Vatos Urban Tacos and has moved to Singapore to establish and expand the brand here.
Sid’s first job at the age of 14 was at a Mexican restaurant in Ventura, California, so it’s fitting that he has come back full circle to the Mexican food scene. Born in Korea and raised in sunny Southern California, Sid brings more than 20 years of business know-how and almost 15 years of food and beverage experience to Vatos. Sid is a proud alumnus of UC Berkeley and consumes large amounts of Vatos fare on a daily basis – all in the name of quality control, of course. As a serial restaurateur, Sid has founded and opened at total of 11 restaurants, which include Vatos, Vatos Express, Sid Burger, and his new concept, Urban Mix.
